北京市環境保護監測中心成立于1974年，是全國最早成立的專業化的環境監測機構之一，是國家環境監測一級站，隸屬于北京市
環境保護局，業務上接受中國環境監測總站指導。監測中心的主要職責是負責全市范圍內大氣、水、噪聲、土壤、生態等環境要
素的環境質量監測、各類污染源監測、突發污染事故的應急監測。

Established in 1974, as one of the earliest professional environmental monitoring mechanism as well as a part of Beijing Municipal
Environmental Protection Bureau, Beijing Municipal Environmental Monitoring Center is a national environmental monitoring guided
by China National Environmental Monitoring Centre. We are mainly responsible for monitoring the quality of environment elements
in the city such as air, water, noise, soil and ecology, all kinds of pollution sources and the abrupt pollution accident.
